Timing: We will be using the 18-person Rose Island launch boat for the 10-minute ride to and from Rose Island, departing from the Elm Street Pier in the Point neighborhood. Please arrive at the pier by 4 PM. The first boat will depart at 4 PM and return by 6 PM. A second trip will depart around 4:25 PM and return by 6:25 PM.
What to Expect on the Island: A free tour of the grounds and our historic lighthouse and fort is included. The entire Island including the bird sanctuary is is available for walks and exploration.
Refreshments: Visitors are invited and encouraged to bring their own refreshments. None are available on the Island.
