Rose Island Lighthouse is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to support the daily operations that keep the island clean, organized, and guest-ready. This hands-on role works closely with Island Guides and focuses on guest readiness, accommodation turnover, public space care, and visitor services support. This position does not lead historical tours. Instead, the Island Steward helps ensure that overnight accommodations, restrooms, shared spaces, and guest & visitor areas are prepared to a consistent standard each day. Responsibilities include refreshing rooms between stays, preparing beds with clean linen packets, restocking supplies, vacuuming and cleaning rugs and floors in public-accessed spaces, supporting gift shop organization, and documenting any damage, missing items, low supplies, or belongings left behind. Guest room changeovers are a key part of this role, so the ideal candidate works quickly and thoroughly, takes pride in clean and organized spaces, communicates clearly, and is comfortable working in a unique off-grid island environment. Weekday and Weekend availability.
Part-time, seasonal role, $20/hr.
